The King's Men Local Missions Opportunity Needs You! We need 18 Kings Men willing to serve our neighbors at Wellspring Community. Please take time to read this note. Wellspring is a Christian organization in Castle Rock serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Beginning soon, the King's Men has an opportunity to bring our grill to Wellspring every other month and provide a BBQ for the men and women they serve. The first opportunity to serve Well Spring is on November 24, 2026 followed by January 26, 2027, and March 23, 2027. Here's the commitment: We're building a pool of 18 Kings Men. For each BBQ, we'll need six men from that pool to bring our grill, cook, serve, and—most importantly—spend time with our Wellspring friends for dinner [5:30-7:30pm] With 18 men rotating, we're asking you to serve approximately twice a year. If you have kids, we'd especially encourage you to bring your middle-school or high-school-aged son or daughter to serve alongside you. This is 100% in line with the “parents modeling” message that Terry Cartrite preached a few weeks back. We talk a lot about teaching the next generation to follow Christ and serve others. Here's an opportunity to model it. Let our kids see Dad/Grandpa show up. Let them help cook and serve. Let them sit down with someone they might never otherwise meet. Let them experience what it means to be on mission locally. As I shared at the recent King's Men Kickoff we men need to LEAD when it comes to being active in missions at Grace Chapel. We have been getting ready for missions for a long time and now it’s time that we DO and the WellSpring opportunity provides a beautiful way for us to serve missionally in our community.
