WHAT: Young at Heart October Activity

WHY: We will be having two guest speakers from our Security Team talking to us about senior safety in our culture.
Items to be covered are:
Safety tips when in public, especially when alone.
Learning to read situations or recognize potential danger.
Parking your car, assessing what is around your car, awareness for entering and leaving your car.
Being in stores, not flashing cash or saying things that may invite crooks.
Internet scams – what to watch for, practices of thieves to scam seniors.
We will have our luncheon, desserts and fellowship time as well.
HOW: Please use the sign-up sheets for side dishes and desserts.
The church will provide the main course which will be really super good homemade chicken and noodles made with Alfredo sauce and ingredients that aren’t good for you, but really make it tasty!
