Your Kings Men is super excited to share our annual Buckets of Hope campaign which conclude the last Sunday in March. This will be the third our church has partnered with Help & Hope to collect canned goods in Home Depot buckets.
For folks new to the Grace Chapel family, Help & Hope Center is a non-profit human service organization dedicated to providing assistance to people in Douglas and Elbert counties who are in serious economic need, at risk of homelessness, or in a similar crisis. Help & Hope provides food and other necessities for the homeless, low income, and financially fragile in our community.
As we have shared before, charitable organizations are often overwhelmed with gifts, support, etc., around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but during the early months of the year, there is a complete void of support. Those less fortunate in our community still need to eat after the holidays. So, let’s make a difference in our local community with our collective support and may Jesus be glorified by your contribution.
In the church lobby will be Home Depot buckets where you can contribute your canned goods. Our goal is to collect 2500 canned goods! With 100 buckets containing 25 canned goods, we believe this goal is very attainable. You will see a poster board in the lobby indicating our progress each week.
