Grasping Biblical Interpretation: Hermeneutics 101
This class will study the basic principles and specific guidelines of biblical interpretation. In this group, general principles covered encourage the reliance on the Holy Spirit, paying attention to the context, knowing the ancient culture, and recognizing the different types of literary genre. Specific rules concerning the interpretation of types, symbols, proverbs, parables, and prophecy are accounted for in this class.
